This will give you a better grasp of the community or organization\u2019s characteristics and will enable you to tailor your advocacy strategies to the place that you are working with.<\/p>\n

Click the button below to start the online questionnaire<\/strong> to determine the policy readiness of your target. Your responses to the questions will reveal whether you are working with an Innovator, Majority type or Late Adopter.<\/p>\n

Choose the most appropriate answer (A, B or C) in each row. Select the response that best describes the community or organization that you plan to work with. At the end, the questionnaire will determine your community\u2019s level of readiness based on your answers.<\/p>\n

What if I am unsure about how to answer these questions?<\/h2>\n

If you are unsure as to how best to answer these questions, we suggest that you work with someone who is familiar with (or works closely with) the community or organization to answer the questions. If you are still unable to answer one of the questions, leave the response section for this question blank.<\/p>\n

What if there is a group of us working on advancing the same issue?<\/h2>\n

We recommend that each person in your group complete the questions individually. At the end of the questionnaire they will be provided with a unique submission ID. The leader or moderator of the group can then collect these codes and input them into the Retrieve Results page. This will give your group the adopter category that, based on everyone\u2019s results, is the best starting point for engaging in the policy process.<\/p>\n

You will notice that the questions sound very similar. This was done purposively to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of your target and its innovation characteristics. Please read each question carefully.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition, the questions used are a good starting point for thinking about the characteristics of the community or organization you are working with and approaching the issue from a perspective that works for them.
